Regarding: ALLEGRO THAILAND TEST TRANSFER TO ALLEGRO PHILIPPINES

Thi
s letter is to inform you that, in conjunction with our Board, Allegro MicroSystems’
management has decided to transition all equipment and activity out of our Allegro
MicroSystems (Thailand) Co., Ltd (AMTC) facility to consolidate manufacturing at the Allegro
MicroSystems Philippines, Inc. (AMPI) location.
Ther
e were multiple factors that influenced this decision, including market conditions and activity
levels. In addition to these factors, our AMPI location is capable of supporting more than double
its current volume. As a result of this decision, we will be transferring test, pack, and ship
operations for our Power IC product line to AMPI.

Our AMPI location is a long-established, TS16949 certified test facility where Allegro has been
testing our broad range of automotive grade, robust sensor and power IC products for decades.
All existing test equipment will transfer from the AMTC facility to the AMPI facility, ensuring no
change to how our products are tested today. Each product will be run on the same make and
model of test equipment as they are today.
A
llegro will be transitioning AMTC’s test, pack, and ship operations to our AMPI facility
throughout calendar year 2020. Please refer to the appendix for a listing of Power IC products
associated with this transition.
P
lease note at Allegro’s discretion, the Product Change Notification format may be utilized
where Allegro deems a more comprehensive notification is warranted.
