Description of Change:
Texas Instruments Incorporated is announcing an information only notification to change
material of end plugs from PVC to TPE
Reason for Change:
To fan-in usage of TPE end plug from PVC to reduce loose end plug issue.
1. PVC end plugs expand at high temperatures which cause tube end openings to expand.
Expansion of tube end openings is reduced with TPE end plugs.
2. TI Taiwan has 5 years experience using TPE end plugs with no loose end plug issues.
