Description
Intel Programmable Solutions Group (“Intel PSG”, formerly Altera) is discontinuing the
following FPGA & CPLD products:
Excalibur
Stratix
Stratix GX (only 17 part numbers affected) *
MAX3000A
* Subset of device family OPNs are affected.
The device family ordering codes are listed in Attachment 1A-1C.
Reason for Change
The FPGAs and CPLDs are being discontinued due to Intel PSG’s package vendor
phasing out its production line capacity for 8” eutectic / High Pb wafer bump capacity, and
the declining demand for the legacy product families.
