Overview:
Spansion LLC is announcing the qualification of an alternate assembly site, ASE Chung Li
Inc., Taiwan, for assembly of all WSON and USON packages to ensure sufficient assembly
capacity and increase flexibility, as a preventive action. Upon this qualification, all devices
assembled in WSON and USON packages will be considered qualified by similarity. Additional
future ordering part numbers (OPNs) assembled in these packages may be assembled at any
qualified facility. The OPNs currently affected by this change are listed below. See below for
details:

Description of Change:
Qualification of ASE Chung Li Inc., Taiwan as an additional assembly facility for all WSON
and USON packages.
Reason for Change:
To increase assembly capacity and flexibility as a preventive action.
Application Impact:
There is no expected impact on application, function, use or quality and reliability. There will
be no change to the datasheet.
