Product Discontinuance Notification: PDN 2016-017
Subject: EOL Notification – Non Hermetic Zener Products
Description: Microsemi is announcing the discontinuance of select products that are currently being
offered by Microsemi Discrete Product Group (DPG). The products affected by this PDN are being
discontinued and will no longer be available from Microsemi.
Reason for Discontinuance: The reason for the obsolescence of these products is due to planned
obsolescence of the semiconductor processes on these devices. The volume demand on these mature
devices has gradually declined over the years. There will be no replacement part and customers are
required to place a last time buy to support their lifetime demand.
Customer Impact: N/A
Replacement Parts: There are no direct replacements for these
