Product Discontinuation Notice
Overview
The purpose of this notification is to communicate that Xilinx retracted the discontinuation of XC18V00 product
family and selected Platform Flash PROMs products. This product discontinuance notice (PDN) applies to
Commercial (C), and Military XQ (M & N) temperature grade products.
Description
Xilinx’s supplier is shutting down their production line for selected XC18V00 family PROMs and selected Platform
Flash family PROMs. The products in Table 1 and Table 2
have been impacted and identified for obsolescence.
These PROMs are used to configure Xilinx FPGA family devices as shown in Appendix A. Xilinx is building a 10
to 12 years inventory on these products. The last time orders have been extended to approximately 2026. There
is no form, fit, function or reliability that will require to re-test these products.
There are no compatible replacements for these affected part numbers with exception to XCF01, XCF02 and
XCF04 platform flash. XCF01, XCF02 and XCF04 platform flash can be replaced with corresponding lead free
(Pb-free) “G” package. The lead free option package is backward compatible with leaded package.
This notice should be used in conjunction with previous discontinuance notices which can be found at Xilinx.com
.

standard part numbers listed in Table 1 and Table 2
