MPLAB® X IDE
MPLAB® X IDE is the free integrated development
environment from Microchip Technology. Equipped with
a powerful and functional set of features, this IDE is the
next generation foundation of integrated toolset for the
development of embedded applications on Microchip’s
PIC® microcontrollers and dsPIC® digital signal controllers.
MPLAB X IDE is a single, unified graphical user interface
for Microchip and third party software and hardware
development tools that runs on Windows, Linux and Mac
OS X. Based on the NetBeans IDE, MPLAB X IDE is a whole
new IDE with a host of free software components and
plug-ins for high-performance application development and
super-charged debugging customized to your liking. Moving
between tools, and upgrading from software simulators
