Overview:
The purpose of this notification is to communicate product change of select Renesas
Electronics America, Inc. (REA) devices. There is no change to the part number.
This notification announces the addition of a wafer fabrication site for RL78
microcontrollers. In addition to the current wafer fabrication site (Kawashiri), a new site
(Saijo) will begin manufacture of RL78 devices.
Affected Products:
A review of our shipment records to your company indicate the attached list of products is
affected by this notification.
